Hi all

There are 2 upcoming events, this weekend in
Johannesburg and 11 June in Cape Town.

Bird fair, 28-29 May

This weekend I'll be at the SASOL bird fair at the Johannesburg Zoo, so if you are attending it look for me at the SAFRING stall. I will also be talking about ADU projects with a focus on ringing and PHOWNing.

Kirstenbosch, 11 June

The ADU is 20 years old this year and we will be holding a 20th anniversary celebration event at Kirstenbosch National Botanical Gardens on Saturday 11 June. The programme includes a talk about the Virtual Museum projects and it would be great if you could join us to celebrate this milestone in the ADU's history.

Go to http://20.adu.org.za to register and to view the programme of events and other information. Registration is free and registered participants will be entitled to student entrance-fee rates into Kirstenbosch. If you are a member of the Botanical Society your BotSoc card will get you in for free!

Here is your chance to meet some of the ADU staff and project coordinators, interact with fellow volunteers and celebrate 20 years of citizen science in South Africa.

We hope to see you there!  For enquiries on the Kirstenbosch event, please contact Doug Harebottle ( This e-mail address is being protected from spam bots, you need JavaScript enabled to view it ).
