In my next life, I want to marry a birder! ???
I use my wife's car for most of my birding and wash it every time I get home (plus I wash my own car) - see what I mean? Maybe I should do that as a good hubby anyway...but I am wishing that I was married to a birder who did all the car washing. I don't really enjoy washing cars!

Re: What did you see today? (4)

What makes you guys think Ramkat and I wash cars??? Life's too short to wash a car. Just take a book, buy a serious cappuchino, and go to the nearest car wash, drive in, read your book, slurp the foam, and 30minutes later your car is spotless. You should try it sometime. It's worth every cent. As a housewife I wash everything from clothing to floors, so I DON'T wash cars. roll

Laine, I think WTM has a picture in his mind, scantily clad Laine, playing with foam and water.......tongue streeeettttching to reach the dirty bits on the bonnet of the car. His mind wasn't on the post at all. big_smilebig_smile
SS and I had a great time as usual, while the men are freezing in Europe.

Re: What did you see today? (4)

Just got back from a morning outing to Kgomo Kgomo looking for the elusive striped Crake. Sat at the spot where Rob Geddes photographed a pair of them over the weekend. Arrived there at 05h45 and sat at the same spot till 09h30. No sign of the crakes, but i can confidently say i now know what a Lesser Moorhen and Dwarf Bittern looks like!!! Saw a Lesser Moorhen with 3 chicks and 3 different Dwarf Bitterns.
Had to rush back home so sadly didn't have much time to look for anything else.

Water is drying up fast!

Keep looking up... you may see a bird or just choose to praise God!
