AnnouncementOur Mission and Values at GBT...
Here at GBT we hope to foster an interest in all things birding, and in so doing, also create a deep and abiding respect for our natural environment. We do so without taking ourselves too serioulsy, but we do take the state of our environment very seriously. We share our knowledge and our passion for all things birding willingly and enthusiastically.

Re: Eastern Free-state BirdingI haven't been to Ladybrand since I was a child; my grandfather was the manager of the municipal caravan park for a while (one of his retirement jobs); I remember a beautiful tiny, derelict graveyard there with graves of English soldiers who died during the Boer War, kinda sad, and these huge boulders with passages between them where the Boer soldiers hid their horses; and the rocks were engraved with soldiers names from back then. And it is where I learnt to ride a horse...well a Basotho pony actually LOL! How to resize your photos "Better Photography is a journey, not a destination." George D.
