Garden List

Seeing that all the people around here have very impressive garden lists, I thought that just had to test Benoni's garden birds and see how the tee up against the rest...

In the last week or so I started with my list since I put up my feeder (just bird bath with seeds and fruit) and here is what I recorded:

African Hoopoe
Cape Wagtail
Cape Sparrow
Cape robin chat(breeding in garden)
House sparrow
Southern Masked weaver
Crested Barbet
Red headed Finch
Cape turtle dove
Laughing dove
Common Myna
Glossy Starlings
Hadeda Ibis
Grey Go away bird
Red faced Mousebird
Speckled Mousebird
And to my amazement White bellied Sunbird!!

The Airspace above my house:

Grey headed gull
Cattle egret
Black headed Heron
House Martin
Common swift
Barn swallow
Yellow billed egret
Hadeda Ibis
Sacred Ibis
Crowned Lapwings
Blacksmith plovers
Amur Falcon

Not the full list, but I just want to show that Benoni does have birds... lol

I can levitate birds, but no one seems to care.

Re: Garden List

I must really place another category in the list, as some of the "sit downs" are alos once off or irregular.
