ok... I have a Slik Mono Pod.  I have to be honest when i say.. I don't know how I managed without one.  They keep you nice and steady especially when your hands are shaking from either exhaustion, excitement or dehydration (still thanking Candy's mom for the much needed cooldrink she brought back to the Lesser Honeyguide Stake out! wink )

All in all I have to say that it surely is a must buy.  Much easier to carry then the conventional tripod which is just far to bulky.

LOL!

I don't think I have added the circular polarizer I got for xmas to my gear list yet...oh ja and my second Windbag Pro seeing as I squished the first one in half in the rented Corollas very powerful electric window hmm
and not sure I included the Modopod in the gear list either....nice this, very light so one has to have a nice firm stance to keep it steady, but it folds up tiny and is super light and seeing as the camera and lens is weight enough...
