Heres a kewl idea from Gwen - Just for the weekend, yeah - thats today and tomorrow - we find something YELLOW to take a pic of and post it up!  These pics, for now, are only of NOT so far away things - meaning you don't need a long lens!

Our first baby Cape Sparrows have arrived - we haven't been able to see them yet, but the mommy has been very busy providing food this morning!!

my contribution..and in case you are wondering where on earth these guinea fowl feathers are: my golf bag; I pick them up every time I play golf and then stick them in a side pocket, just habit I guess LOL!

I took this photo this afternoon in the Noorderplantsoen. Two years ago 2 Great Comorants started to hang out in this park in the middle of the city. There are about 10 comorants now. This is their favourite tree.
