AnnouncementOur Mission and Values at GBT...
Here at GBT we hope to foster an interest in all things birding, and in so doing, also create a deep and abiding respect for our natural environment. We do so without taking ourselves too serioulsy, but we do take the state of our environment very seriously. We share our knowledge and our passion for all things birding willingly and enthusiastically.

Re: Peregrine Falcon list clubSo after a drought of 7 years and 3 months I finally got to see my first Peregrine Falcon. There is a saying that Murphy loves Africa big time! Since my first Peregrine in January 2011 I have now seen 5!! The latest one nogals from my office window. Laine and Dirk's Bird Photos - created with Bird Photo Organizer - v3.0! Re: Peregrine Falcon list clubThe problem with this bird is that I cannot guarantee you a sighting. I first saw it 2 weeks ago on a Wednesday (I think it was)when Imax and I were chatting here at my desk. Then I saw it on the Friday when it was raining. Re: Peregrine Falcon list clubI read that African Black Swift forms part of its diet. Coincidentally I saw African Black Swift for the first time here around this building a few days before I saw the falcon. Wonder if it followed the swifts here and then accidentally happened on the building and thought: "Flock! What a lekka pozzie!"
