AnnouncementOur Mission and Values at GBT...
Here at GBT we hope to foster an interest in all things birding, and in so doing, also create a deep and abiding respect for our natural environment. We do so without taking ourselves too serioulsy, but we do take the state of our environment very seriously. We share our knowledge and our passion for all things birding willingly and enthusiastically.

Re: Nelspruit Botanical Gardens - what can we expect to find?WTM, drink up your coffee, get your bin's, and I'll pick you up at 11am to go and show you the Stierlings. That should cheer both of us up! Re: Nelspruit Botanical Gardens - what can we expect to find?Don't even get me started on that, BK. I twice had to dump a 10 liter bucket filled with water on my neighbour's keffing effing brak in the early morning hours over this weekend!! I just had enough of that thing! I just cannot fathom how owners of pets can allow this thing to happen. WTF?!?! I am short of shooting the darn dog! Laine and Dirk's Bird Photos - created with Bird Photo Organizer - v3.0! Re: Nelspruit Botanical Gardens - what can we expect to find?DD, at least when a cat's on heat, the noise lasts 1 or 2 nights, these dogs bark every day, all day and half the blooming night. Re: Nelspruit Botanical Gardens - what can we expect to find?I don't know. I simply think that this summer was too dry to lure any of these Warblers. Previously I have not swam as much as I have done this year. Truly had a much better summer this season. But my neighbour tells me that last year April was one our wettest months. So let's see, maybe the big rains are on its way still. Laine and Dirk's Bird Photos - created with Bird Photo Organizer - v3.0! Re: Nelspruit Botanical Gardens - what can we expect to find?March last year we had 205mm, and April 95mm - but it was a record year, so let's hope we get some more soon.
