Servicing Binoculars

Hi there, does anyone know of a place in and around Gauteng where I could take my bins for a service?

Re: Servicing Binoculars

Bushnell have a service center (Strijdompark)  they have a person they use. Cameratek as well but they are pricey and only do the big brand names due to spares issues.

Re: Servicing Binoculars

Thanks Imax. I am going there right now. Their container is leaving this afternoon.

How much did they charge you? What did you get done on your bins?

Re: Servicing Binoculars

The diopter went out so could not adjust both lenses to focus correctly. they also picked up a crack in the centre shaft which they repaired, all free of charge under warranty.

Re: Servicing Binoculars

yep confirm that Busnells have a lifetime warranty and they have repaired BK's once and then totally replaced them 8 months after we bought them with a brand new pair due to a problem with the eyepiece. Great Service !!big_smilebig_smile
